queens and princesses
princes and kings
don't have to be beautiful
and fairy tales sing.
a maid can be gorgeous
and alive with charm
she can be in love
with the prince no harm.
a servant so handsome
and yet so in love
can be with a princess
the one we speak of.
a prince can be ugly
a princess be plain
but in fairy tale times
there's nothing but gain.
