when i write poetry
it just calms my mind
i sit here so silently
i leave nothing behind.
it's like painting a portrait
a great work of art
there's nothing like poetry
so close to my heart
sometimes i write things
that don't realy belong
out of my life
make a new song
i've written bout death
but here's what i'll say
jesus is with me
all of the way.
